What to Expect
At The Mom Hotline, the goal is to simply give you some information to help you decide what to do next.
Remember, The Mom Hotline is not here to replace your own parents, family, and friends. They know you; they know what’s best for you. And if you’re not getting the answers you need from them, you need to get professional help.
The Mom Hotline can only suggest possible solutions to your problems, based on the information you provide. There are always two sides to every story. And you can only know how things are from your side. That doesn’t make you wrong. But it doesn’t always mean that you’re completely right.
If you’re here, hopefully, The Mom Hotline can help. But if not, make sure you find someone you can trust and talk to them. There is ALWAYS someone who loves you and can help you through the worst problems imaginable. But it may be up to you to find them.
Answers found at The Mom Hotline are given by moms who are just that: moms. They are experts at everything from wiping running noses, to juggling schedules, to giving sage advice, to getting in your face when you need a good earful.
The Mom Hotline is not a substitute for specific professional advice from someone qualified in a particular field. Use The Mom Hotline as a suggestion, a starting place from which to decide how to best resolve your issue.
